Jeff Banks is obsesses with detail. It is his consuming passion to ensure that the details are carefully tended.

At the tender age of eleven he was probably the only lad in his class to press creases in his school trousers - everyday! 

This passion for clothes never left him. After training in textiles he began his first business in the maelstrom of the 60's and is credited with having tailored the first pair of flared trousers in 1964.

Instant success and America beckoned when London became the passport to world acclaim. Twice British designer of the year in the 70's and retailer of the year and menswear journalist in the 80's - This is no ordinary career.

Although Jeff had huge success developing and running the Warehouse chain of stores and spent ten years presenting the world's foremost television programme, it was the opening of his Design Studio in the heart of London's Soho that gave the biggest personal pleasure.
